Cheer Channel to Debut Fourth Season of Hit Franchise Series

June 08, 2016, Austin, TX- Cheer Channel™ Inc. (CCI), the #1 online news and entertainment network for the spirit industry, announced that it will launch its original hit web-series, "Secret Diary of an American Cheerleader 4: Cheerleader Undercover™, presented by Legitmix. The Executive Producers and Creators of the series franchise are Cheer Channel™ Network founder, Cindy Villarreal, a former Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader and NFL Executive and Executive Producer/Producer on dozens of scripted and reality programs along with Lance H. Robbins, former president of the Saban Entertainment and the Fox Family Studios Worldwide. Robbins has served as Executive Producer/Producer on more than 280 movies for network television including the hit show Sweet Valley High, along with cable, video and hundreds of live action series episodes. He and was the primary force behind the creation and acquisition of the Saban International, Saban Entertainment, and Fox Family Channel libraries which sold to Abc/Disney for $5.3 billion in 2001 and remained under contract with ABC/Disney until 2003. 

Secret Diary of an American Cheerleader™ is back with more drama and secrets. In Cheerleader Undercover, Casey Collins, a stereotypical over-achiever, has only one thing on her mind and that is proving that all cheerleaders are dumb, catty and self-absorbed. But when Casey gets a birds-eye view of the real side of cheerleading, she feels conflicted about running her sensationalized story. But will this realization come before the publication of her story? 

Season 4: Cheerleader Undercover™ is the first original web-series in history produced for the spirit industry. Created specifically for cheerleaders, real cheerleaders have been cast in every season as actors, dancers, background and stunt performers. In addition, Cheer Channel's Superstars, comprised of cheer influencers, are always part of the original series.

Episode 4: A Rose of Many Thorns

Can you EVEN believe what happened last week on Secret Diary? Believe me, we haven’t stopped freaking out since the episode went live! There’s clearly something going on between Ashlynn and Josh, and hopefully tonight we can see Lexie get to the bottom of things.

What would you do if you were Lexie? Would you call Josh out on his two -timing ways? Or would you demand an explanation and see what he has to say for himself? Mondayepisode promises some pretty spectacular confrontations as Lexie deals with the aftermath of her run in with the “blondetourage” at Cutters pizza. What will her bffs say about her missing practice? More importantly, will COREY be angry? Will Coach see though her? Be sure to tune in tonight to find out!

We don’t know about you, but we can’t wait to see what kinds of stunts Lexie pulls off (and I don't mean cheer stunts).  She's hiding behind that diary and her friends are beginning to suspect something's up! Balancing love life with cheer life is no easy task, especially when you throw secret snapchats, big rivalries, and epic showdowns into the mix. Keep an eye out for some killer superstars in the background performing the routines as part of the Tri-City Elite and the days of prep and practices before their first big competition of the season!

In last week’s trailer we saw some familiar faces, including REAL LIFE cheerleading superstars. Mason Baker plays rival center point flyer, "Ashlynn" aka... "Queen of Mean". Her best friend, "Vanessa" is played by Jamie Andries and they  are joined by their blondetourage which includes Jennifer Burke, Peyton Mabry and Carley Browning. The lead of "Lexi" is played by Alexandra Harris. And did we mention the hotties, Josh and Corey? We have a feeling this season will be the juiciest Secret Diary yet!
